Heraklion Airport (Kazantzakis International Airport) is directly connected to Athens International Airport with Olympic Air and Aegean Airlines domestic flights. You can travel to Heraklion, Crete from anywhere in the world via Athens, the capital of Greece.

Transportation at the Conference

You may take the bus No. 1 Airport – Amoudara that will take you right in front of Hotel Castro. The bus ticket costs 1.70 Euro. You may also take the bus No. 12 Airport – T.E.I. campus at the same cost. Bus tickets can be taken from the kiosk located in the bus station. Is good to ask the driver about the station where to go down, he will help you. For any situations please call Laura from Adonis Travel at +30 693 4623046.

For the taxi from the airport, Adonis Travel can help you, and you will have a receipt.

All the conference halls are in the building of School of Health and Welfare Services of T.E.I. Crete.

a. from Castro – Amoudara

A bus will collect participants in the morning, every day, 30 minutes before the conference program This bus can collect also the participants with accommodation at student dormitory.

b. from the Center of Heraklion

There are buses No. 12 and No.7, having indicated the destination T.E.I., that can be used.

c. from Amoudara

There is no direct bus to T.E.I. You need to take a bus to Heraklion and an another one to T.E.I. (ex. Bus No.12).

Lunch will be at Experimental Farm, just across the street from the conference building.

All dinners, except the Conference Dinner-Cretan night at Anopolis, will be at Petousis Tavern in Amoudara. A bus will take the participants from the conference place directly to the restaurant.
