Babes-Bolyai University of Cluj-Napoca, Romania
He graduated from Babes-Bolyai University , where he attained MSc (1982) and PhD (1999). His current research interests are focused on various experimental aspects of magnetism in transition metal oxides, colossal magnetoresistance compounds, high-Tc superconductors, multiferroic materials. He is also interested in cryogenics and its applications. He was a Research Associate at University of Notre Dame, and Pennsylvania State University, USA in the group of Prof. Peter Schiffer.
