Cluj-Napoca is the second largest academic city, after Bucharest, hosting important universities: Babeș-Bolyai University, Technical University, Iuliu Hațieganu University of Medicine and Pharmacy, USAMV, University of Arts and Design, Gheorghe Dima Music Academy and other private universities and educational institutes.

Babeș-Bolyai University (UBB), with its famous botanical garden is the largest university in the country (over 40 000 students in 2015) having 21 faculties. Among these faculties, the Faculty of Physics has contributed continuously to the university fame through its research results, including those in the field of advanced materials.

The lectures and the board during ICPAM-11 and PAMS-2 will be at the Babes-Bolyai University, M. Kogalniceanu Street, No.1, RO- 400084 Cluj-Napoca (see on-line map, or map below highlighting all ICPAM-11 places: accommodation, lectures etc.).Transport to the conference site from the airport or railway station will be proposed.
